Eight days of school left. Actually only seven 'cause apparently some of the higher ups volunteered the junior class to help with book returns. I still can't believe this year's almost over...
So...freakishly easy yet probably sadly messed up math test today...then a wildly mature bout of close-proximity throwing of grass at one another during HL break. Heck, we need these antic outbreaks to mitigate the pressure of being the upper class and all...though finishing a few somersaults yesterday only to discover Mr. Ellison standing on the stairs watching me WAS a bit awkward ^^...and then Kelly had to compare Hamlet to Lion King (^^)...This is random, but I'm actually beginning to like Shakespeare. It sounds horrible, but hitherto I really haven't liked him; Hamlet is starting to change my mind...and once again the question is recurring: why the ever-loving cracky am I blabbering on about things no one cares about? (I'm tempted to say something witty about Odysseus being "no one" but...I won't.)
So, I had a dream that Mr. Ellison abolished the giving of awards at graduation, and that in lieu of the former procedure, all the A students would sit in a room for a few hours and discuss things, and the rest of the people just got thrown into another room. ...yeah.
Ok, cool Chesterton quote from The Man Who Was Thursday (which fits in well with God telling Moses he can only see His back):

"…"Listen to me," cried Syme with extraordinary emphasis.
"Shall I tell you the secret of the whole world? It is that we
have only known the back of the world. We see everything from
behind, and it looks brutal. That is not a tree, but the back of a
tree. That is not a cloud, but the back of a cloud. Cannot you see
that everything is stooping and hiding a face? If we could only
get round in front..."

I like that concept, somehow...
